Hello, and welcome to NextSteps Counselling.
I’m Dr. Sunepsungla, a PhD holder, educator, and counsellor with over 15 years of experience working closely with students, young adults, and individuals navigating important academic, career, and personal decisions. Long before establishing NextSteps, people naturally sought me out for guidance, clarity, and perspective when facing difficult choices and transitions.

My PhD in Philosophy has shaped my approach to counselling—encouraging thoughtful reflection, active listening, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the individual behind every decision. Alongside my academic and professional experience, I have also served as the Coordinator of a Career Counselling Cell, supporting students in understanding their strengths, exploring suitable pathways, and making informed educational and career choices.

My professional development also includes specialized training and credentials in career analysis and mental-health-related areas:
